This pass is only available to students participating in the Teacher Training program with Vaughan. It is actually defined as giving you access to up to 60 sessions per term, so if you miss any during a week, you can attend more classes in another week. However all classes expire at the end of the term, with no carry-on to the next term.
It gives access to the following:
- weekly teacher training class on Sundays 12noon to 2pm (usually 10 per term)
- a minimum of two weekly studio classes with Vaughan
Compulsory attendance to Sunday 8am & 10am (in person or via zoom or recording)
it is basically valid for 3-months, depending on the start dates of each school term
- two week long workshops per year
The Teacher Training program for the first 2-years requires attendance at 8 terms. At the end of year 2 trainees will be given a Certificate of Competency, which allows them to get
insured as a yoga teacher and to teach in gyms, workplaces and non-Iyengar studios. For those wishing to sit the certification to become an Iyengar teacher, then a third year is required. The third year is less formal and more like a mentorship, and is focused on final preparation to sit the Iyengar Level 1 teaching certification.
You must sign-in to book a spot in this class.
